Happy Wednesday!!! Don’t forget to say a big “Thank You” to Roxane and Debbie in the front office as it is Administrative Professionals Day!!! They do a lot to keep our school running, and they need to be thanked!
In conceptual physics, we did a lab on current in parallel circuits. This was just to show that what we have learned about current holds true in an experimental setting. You should have found that the current going into and coming out of a circuit will be the same, no matter how many resistors you added. Tomorrow, we will review for the parallel circuits exam which will be on Friday.
In biology, we spent the day talking about the wonderful brain!! We watched a BrainPop on the brain and then I gave you a worksheet to fill out the different parts and functions of the brain. The three parts I want you to be most concerned with are the cerebrum, cerebellum, and the medulla.
And in physics, I handed back your test from yesterday. We went over the answers and then started a lab dealing with circuits in series. This lab will probably spill into tomorrow, and then we will discuss your findings. You did an awesome job on the exam!!! I’m very pleased!
Have a great day!
