TGIF! And this upcoming weekend isn’t just any old weekend; it’s the YHS prom!! The countdown is finally over! All of those tanning sessions, nail appointments, and dress fittings will pay off tomorrow in the “Blue Paradise.” I’m excited to see you all in your finest tomorrow evening! Today, you will see your faculty members wearing buttons with a kiss mark on them. This is to remind you to “Keep it Safe and Sober.” Prom is a very special and exciting night for you all, but it is no excuse to lose your mind. Make sure that you are making smart and safe decisions.
In conceptual physics, you took your Parallel Circuits quiz today. Once you were done with that, we went over the answers and graded each others papers. After the quiz, we watched a video over circuits. Next week, we will be watching a video dealing with rocketry.
In biology, you started out the day by taking the LAST STATE STANDARD OF THE YEAR!!!!! That was exciting!!! After the exam, we watched my easter present from my parents, “The Human Body.” We watched the one dealing with the nervous system as this is what we had just got done talking about in class. Next week, we will start discussing the skin and muscles.
And in physics, we went over series circuits for the first 5-10 minutes of class, and then I introduced you to a new type of circuit. We will discuss parallel circuits more on Monday, but I had you do a lab today to get a feeling for what exactly parallel circuits are.
