Monday, May 5th
Happy Cinco de Mayo!! Lots of fun activities going on in the spanish department to celebrate the day, so make sure you stop by and take part in the festivities!
In conceptual physics, I introduced your final project. This will be worth 100 points and will be worth 20% of your semester grade. It is your job to design a board game around the concepts we have learned in physics this semester. You will have the rest of the week to design your game and then next Monday and Tuesday to actually construct it. Don’t forget to make it easy to play, fun, and creative.
In biology, we used today to go back and review Chapter 11 which covered DNA. While it does seem like we covered this stuff a very long time ago, I was pleasantly suprised to see how many of you were on top of this information. You just needed a kick start to get back into that mode of thinking!!
And in physics, I decided that because of district track and state soccer this week, we needed to start reviewing for your final as soon as possible. So, you took your exam over parallel and series circuits in class and once you were done with that, I gave you your review packet. This semester test will cover everything from refraction and reflection all the way up to the circuits we got done studying. I will try to review a little every day, but don’t forget that your semester exam is next Tuesday!! Where has the time gone?
Enjoy your Monday!
