Happy Pep Rally Day!!! Who would have thought that we would be having a pep rally this late in the year? Those soccer boys are amazing and definitely deserve this recognition; and getting out of classes early ain’t all bad :)
In conceptual physics, you continued working on your board game. I had some poster board delivered today so that should help you move along in your design stage. I also saw several of you starting to write questions for the playing cards. Make sure that the questions are difficult, but doable! You want someone to win the game! And I feel sorry for the losers of some of your games; I have seen rules that demand the loser get up and sing the class a song! I’ll be sure to bring my ear plugs :)
In biology we reviewd bacteria and viral cells. We watched a BrainPop on bacteria and then jumped into a rousing game of BINGO!! The squares on your BINGO cards held vocabulary terms dealing with bacteria and viruses. I read the definitions to the words, and you had to match up the terms. Tomorrow, we will review invertebrates.
And in physics, you continued working on your review packet. For some of you, today was the last day you will be in my class until semester test time. Make sure you are asking ANY questions that come up and also that you are using that note card to write down any helpful hints!
Have a great early out day!
